Remote backup period: 30 days
So, from today, every 30 days the latest backups of all the customer accounts will be copied to the remote servers in the same datacenter.
What does it mean?
It means that even if 2 HDDs on the server will crash simultaneously, or if all the information on the server will be removed somehow or become inaccessible, or if the server itself becomes inaccessible etc., you can be sure that we have your data on the remote backup server.
We perfectly understand that it's very important thing for our customers, so we are doing our best to get reinsured about this, and now you have less chances to loose your data with us
But in any way please remember that we are just trying to minimize the chances of data loss issues. As it is stated in TOS 2WDHost is not responsible for backing up any customer's data. All customers should conduct their own data backups.
